The Duggars' stance on the LGBTQ community is particularly problematic considering that certain fans believe Jana Duggar is in the closet. She is famously the eldest Duggar daughter not yet paired off, with In Touch Weekly charting her parents' many attempts to betroth her over the years.

My theory as to why so many people think he is gay/bi is that all the rest of the Duggars are SO STRICTLY gender stereotype conforming. If Josiah went to public high school, I guarantee he would be a Drama kid, and probably either the lead or the director of the school's annual big production.
